Are You Yelling To The Crowds
The majority of marketing newbies think that the louderthey "shout" the more people will listen to their message.
Nothing could be further from the truth, online marketingis not about "yelling" to the crowds to visit your website.Yet many newbie marketers visit forums and classified adsections to post their "scream" to the world.
Do you recognize titles like;
"GET RICH QUICK, VISIT www.somebody's_website.com now"
or
"JOIN ME TODAY AN...
...D MAKE MONEY, ITS FREE!"
Thats what i mean by "shouting", putting your text incapital letters is called shouting as well as the style inwich you write your ad like the examples i gave above.
Now take a look at 2 other examples;
"New Opportunity Shows YOU What It Really Takes To Build ABusiness www.somebody's_website.com"
or
"Ever wanted to be a part of something BIG, this is yourchange, visit www.somebody's_website.com and take your Freetour Today!"
You probably noticed two important things;
1- I did not "shout"
and
2- I did not make claims like "make money for free" etc.
People hate yelling, face it if you would walk in a malland you where aproached by somebody walking by you thatshouted "VISIT MY WEBSITE!!!!!" would you visit thatpersons website, or would you stay clear of that person,should not be too hard to answer right?
Well, posting your add in a similar way on a forum orclassifiedpage is no different. Therefore, when you want toget your message across, do it without shouting at people.You will achieve far better results, trust me.
